Iganga, Uganda – Popular Ugandan musician, known by his stage name Alien Skin, was reportedly assaulted by a mob in Iganga district following a violent altercation involving his associates and a local gang.

The incident is said to have stemmed from a confrontation in which members of Alien Skin’s entourage allegedly assaulted the younger brother of a well-known local gang leader. In what appears to have been a retaliatory act, the gang leader is believed to have mobilized three separate groups of individuals, who then attacked and vandalized vehicles associated with the artist.

Following the destruction of property, reports indicate that the mob tracked down Alien Skin and physically assaulted him. During the attack, he sustained visible injuries, including a deep wound to his forehead, reportedly caused by a large stone.

Local authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident, though eyewitnesses claim the situation escalated quickly and caused significant public disruption. It remains unclear whether any arrests have been made or investigations initiated.

Alien Skin, a rising figure in Uganda's music industry, has gained national attention for his unique style and outspoken persona. His management team has not released a formal comment on the matter at the time of this publication.
